Our practice is a very diverse one including businesses in the manufacturing, construction, service, and retail sectors and includes some of Rhode Island's most successful closely held companies.

John W. Clegg & Company is a continuation of John W. Clegg's practice, which he started in 1961. The firm is currently a general partnership organized in 1984 under the State of Rhode Island for the practice of public accounting.

The firm presently consists of two partners (Dennis C. DiBenedetto and Frederick K. Uttley), four associates, and two support personnel. All of our partners are members of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Rhode Island Society of Certified Public Accountants and have made significant contributions to the profession as officers and committee members in various organizations.
